The holidays are around the corner! Going on a trip?

The end of the school year is approaching, and with it the summer holidays, and with them we have clearly associated trips and holidays, whether it is travelling around the beautiful Czech lands or travelling abroad.

If you are one of those who prefer to go it alone rather than with a travel agent, you will most likely be familiar with accommodation websites such as booking.com.

Do you look at photos or reviews of the hotel you are planning to go to beforehand? Are you deciding whether the price is appropriate in relation to the "performance"? We expect the answer to be yes in both cases.

Thanks to the Internet and modern technology, no one wants to buy a rabbit in a bag anymore. Some people rely on the reviews of other visitors, others rely on the photos of the accommodation provider, which do not necessarily correspond to reality. However, we can all agree that we all want to avoid inconvenience and disappointment, especially if we are going on that well-deserved holiday.

One other way to get an advance look at what's in store is through video reviews. For some, this can be a convenient way to learn more from a real visitor's perspective. If you want to make sure that, for example, the hotel you choose really hits your taste, the expected services are adequate, and you won't have to deal with, say, poor soundproofing - you might even know YouTube videos of Mr. Baldywho deals with exactly this kind of evaluation of hotels and other accommodation facilities.
