Take-back of electrical equipment and batteries

The ecological disposal of electrical equipment and batteries sold by ITS joint stock company according to Act No. 542/2020 Coll., on end-of-life products, and according to the implementing decrees of this Act, is ensured through cooperation with the collective system operated by ASEKOL a.s. and ECOBAT s.r.o.

At the end of the useful life of the purchased electrical equipment, it is necessary to take the product to a take-back point.

If such electrical equipment is disposed of in regular municipal waste, it will not be recycled and will end up in a landfill where it can damage or endanger the environment and human health (it may contain a number of hazardous substances).

Special red containers are also available for small waste electrical equipment. A list of these can be found here: http://www.cervenekontejnery.cz/

If you buy a new product, you can also hand over end-of-life products of a similar type and use free of charge (in the same number of pieces, so-called "piece for piece") at our company's offices.

Recycling

Recycling of end-of-life products is clearly the most advantageous way to treat them. Used electrical equipment can contain a range of precious materials for reuse, thus saving natural resources and at the same time reducing the burden of pollutants on the environment. Recycling allows for cost reductions in the production of new products and a reduction in the environmental burden. In this respect, consumers and other end-users of electrical equipment have a key role to play, as they make a significant contribution to protecting the environment and human health by taking a responsible approach and disposing of waste electrical equipment at designated sites.

Notice

The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin appears on every piece of electrical equipment, on its packaging, on the warranty card or in the instructions for use. The meaning of this symbol is that the product must not be thrown away in a mixed waste bin at the end of its useful life, but must be taken to a designated take-back site to ensure its environmentally sound disposal.
