News from IBM on Vltava waves

On Wednesday 29 May 2024 , in the pleasant environment of the Prague Marina Botel, another of the regular annual meetings of ITS representatives with partners and customers of our company took place, again on the occasion of the presentation of new products in the IBM portfolio.

In sunny weather, we looked "under the hood" of the IBM Power server product line and also at the news in the field of IBM storage, the whole block was finished with the traditional information on IBM i V7R5 operating systems.

In addition to IBM's product innovations, we were reminded of the broad scope of ITS, this time with a more detailed focus on the electrical revision of IT technologies and specifically in data centres, where we still encounter shortcomings, surprisingly even in large companies.

We have tried to appeal to neglected facts and also to the simple fact that IT equipment inspections are mandatory by law and underestimating them is not worthwhile for many reasons. We talked about the fact that a common reason for postponing the revision is, for example, the fear of server downtime, which we can solve in ITS brilliantly - by measuring the method of operation, i.e. without downtime.
