An exceptional project that transcends the boundaries of space research
Little Moon City Prague (LMCP), a unique research and training center on the university campus in Prague's Dejvice district, was established under the leadership of the Hydronaut Project team and is one of the most ambitious technological research initiatives in the Czech Republic. Although it is often associated with space simulations, its actual scope is much broader. LMCP combines psychology, biometric technologies, biomedicine, extreme environment research, autonomous systems, and advanced human crew management. This interdisciplinary approach creates a unique platform that has no direct equivalent anywhere else in the world. This is one of the reasons why the project attracts the attention of experts, universities, technology companies, and institutions. The recent visit of Czech President Petr Pavel and his charming first lady is a significant moment for LMCP—confirmation that this isa project with global potential that deserves attention and support at the highest level.
Our role: technology partner and modest contributor to a grand vision
At ITS, we are delighted to be part of a project that pushes the boundaries of technological possibilities and brings new insights across disciplines. We have long supported the Hydronaut Project and LMCP as a technology partner because we believe in their ability to deliver innovations with a real impact on the future. In addition to providing expert support, we are also involved in selected parts of the technical infrastructure. For example, we are making a modest contribution to the equipment of the Mission Control Center, which is the heart of the entire facility and ensures the control and monitoring of simulated missions. We see this as the first step in a long-term collaboration that has the ambition to continue to grow and develop.
An exceptional project, exceptional plans
Little Moon City Prague, and above all the team of passionate individuals behind it, are proof that even in the Czech Republic, projects are emerging that can hold their own in international comparison and inspire experts across disciplines.
It is fascinating to see how technology, science, psychology, medicine, and education come together here to form a single functional whole. And the most interesting part is yet to come. Together with the Hydronaut Project team, we are preparing several new activities and development steps for this year, which our followers will soon learn about. We believe that LMCP has enormous potential, and we are proud to be part of it—professionally, with respect, and with the awareness that this is a project that in many ways goes beyond ordinary technological initiatives.
