The traditional meeting of business partners and clients of ITS in cooperation with IBM, took place again on the occasion of the presentation of new products from the IBM portfolio.
This year, we chose the beautiful Kajetánek Villa in Prague's Břevnov district as the venue, where we spent an information-packed afternoon together.
There were severaltopics to discuss and present:
Within the servers, there was talk of comparing the Power 10 series with the newly announced Power 11 series, with related parameters ranging from processor performance, to licensing terms, to subscriptions. In addition to servers, IBM Storage products, which are an integral part of the portfolio, were of course discussed.
Apart from the products themselves, the event dealt in more detail with, for example, new developments in the IBM i V7R5 operating system, DORA, or our favourite topic - Quantum safe, and the development of quantum computers in general - which resonates strongly not only in our company, but also within our partner IBM. It is no coincidence that IBM is one of the most important leaders in this field on a global scale.
The CEO of ITS, Mr. Lumír Srch, explained not only the principles themselves, but especially the reasons why it will be necessary to switch to new security methods in the future. Last but not least, mention was also made of the existing technological solutions that are already available in this respect.
The aim was to open a discussion with the participants and to move one step further. We dare to say that we have clearly succeeded.
