A beautiful story about why it all makes sense
2 min

We would like to share a nice story with you.
A story that beautifully illustrates why working with students makes sense for us at ITS. How even in a short period of time interesting ideas can emerge, how they can lead to a different way of thinking, approach to solutions - and not least creativity.
As you know, at ITS we have been supporting student internships for many years, we cooperate with several high schools, we try to increase the number of visiting students from year to year, and we try to accommodate as much as we can.
Not just to temporarily dilute our collective with "young blood", but because we feel the need to pass on at least some of our knowledge and experience. The need to help - with the transition from the world of theory to the real, often commercial world, in which they will then move, probably, for the rest of their lives.
For many students, this is their first step outside of their studies, so we generally see it as a big responsibility.
And for some students, it may even be an opportunity - like this year, when something truly extraordinary was achieved. What, you ask?
This year's practice included graphic designs by third-year students Secondary Private School of Computer Technology in Prague 9 in Prosek, with whom we have been cooperating for a long time, and who created very nice graphic works within the framework of an inconspicuous assignment.
So nice that we decided to design it as a symbol of a unique project that connects the university world and quantum computing education - Quantum Innovation Center Czech.
The design, developed by the student Šimon Kvěch, was naturally adopted as the main leitmotif of the project and thus became a connecting graphic element for the entire consortium of participating entities, especially universities.
Of course, we decided to not only recognize both students for their work, but to highlight this nice story in general, because we think they simply deserve it.
So the boys received their diplomas from us in a handover ceremony at their school, in the presence of the management and their classmates - and as befits a technology company, a technical trinket that hopefully not only made them happy, but will also be useful to them on their next journey.
