A practical guide to safe behaviour in the cyber world from the NCIB

IT professionals working in the field of cyber security will tell you that the most vulnerable links in the chain of overall corporate security are very often still people - usually ordinary employees.

Nepochybujeme o tom, že jako organizace své zaměstnance školíte v pravidelných intervalech a staráte se o to, aby tyto informace a správné postupy následovali. Této oblasti se sami dlouhodobě věnujeme a víme, že penzum informací nemusí být vždy přijatelné pro všechny, při rychlosti vývoje a s nasazováním nových technologií je zcela možné, že se běžní uživatelé PC v návalu povinností jednoduše „ztrácí“. Nebo hůř – opomíjí pak i naprosté základy.

Because we believe that repetition is the mother of wisdom, we would like to share with you a short documentary released by National Cyber and Information Security Authoritywhich aims, among other things, to educate professionals and the general public in the prevention and protection against cyber threats.

There are undoubtedly a number of documents and detailed guidance recommendations, but we like the simple and clear "poster" from NUCIB, where employees can recall the very basic rules in a very abbreviated but concise form.

The interconnectedness of today's work and private facilities often has no fixed boundaries, and so we also appeal to employees to remember that just as they protect their private property and premises, they should treat work facilities in exactly the same way - so that they do not become a gateway for uninvited guests.

Clean desk policy, tzv. pravidlo čistého stolu, je politikou dlouhodobě prosazovanou ve všech větších firmách a zavedeným standardem – ne s cílem udržet čistoskvoucí pracovní desku, ale zajistit, aby nebyly citlivé informace jako dokumenty či PC vystaveny přístupu neoprávněných osob. Doporučení pro bezpečný pohyb v kybersvětě jsou takovou jeho analogií, nebo chcete-li rozšířením, které by měly být z našeho pohledu nedílnou součástí pracovního přístupu nejen ve směrnicích, ale především v reálném provozu.
