CYRIS autumn: economic missions, legislation, subsidies & SOCy

On 5 November 2025, another meeting of this year's platform took place on the premises of the Čichnova Secondary School of Informatics in Brno. CYRIS(Cyber Research and Innovations in Security), which had SOC as the main topic in the autumn session.
We went with ITS this time not only out of curiosity about the topic of SOC, i.e. surveillance security centres (presented through the lens of our partner, Axenta), but also at the invitation of NUCIB - whether we would share our knowledge and experience from economic-diplomatic missions (PROPED).
Specifically, we tried to convey our impressions of the last Cyber Security Week mission in The Hague, which we wrote about in our news and which you can also read about on Cyris.
Why it makes sense for us at ITS to participate in such activities, and what the Hague has brought us in particular, was the subject of our short report. Opening up interesting foreign business opportunities, validating our Quantum safe / PQC strategy, many new contacts - right up to deepening our cooperation with NUCIB - these were our main goals, and they were definitely fulfilled. Thank you for the space, feedback is also very important to us.
Information on the activities of the National Coordination Centre (NCC / NCC-CZ), the panel discussion was also pleasantly civil and human, a lot of practical information was given on the aforementioned calls from the European Union or within the Twist programme of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Thank you once again for the invitation, we are very happy to actively participate in building the Czech cybersecurity community, which is very strong in the Czech Republic and has a huge potential.
