Cyber Security Week Den Haag & ITS in the Netherlands
4 min
Did you know that October is European Cyber Security Month? Many events and initiatives are taking place in parallel across Europe, one of the most important of which was Cyber Security Week Den Haag 2025which this year, from 29 September to 3 October, was traditionally hosted by the third largest city in the Netherlands, The Hague.
Haag, ve kterém sídlí bezmála padesát nadnárodních institucí a organizací, od Europolu až po Mezinárodní soudní dvůr, a mající v podtitulu město míru a spravedlnosti, poskytl zázemí hned pro několik významných událostí.
At the invitation of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security (NCIS), which is also involved in a number of activities in cooperation with the CzechTrade agency, representatives of ITS went to the Netherlands this year for Cyber Security Week as part of the Proped economic mission.
Our goal: to establish contacts and open new collaborations with other partners, especially in the field of post-quantum encryption.
HSD Delta & Innovation Quarter
The Hague-Rotterdam region of the Netherlands is home to two key organisations promoting innovation and security: the Security Delta (HSD) and InnovationQuarter.
HSD is a national security cluster that brings together over 300 companies, government agencies and research organizations to strengthen cybersecurity and digital resilience. It acts as a hub for sharing knowledge, developing innovative solutions and developing security talent.
One Conference 2025
Dvoudenní One Conference (30.9. – 1.10.), obrovská rozsahem i účastí v haagském World Forum nabídla spektrum tematických přednášek, networkingu a mnoho dalšího, například zónu Talent hub, prezentace start-upů, či část Expo.
The programme was really packed, and we consider some of the most interesting sessions to be those presented by representatives of the local police regarding the investigation of specific cases of cybercrime. And just like at our local events, the need for international cooperation resonated a lot.

Pitch2TheDutch
Jednou z dalších oportunit u paralelně probíhající One Conference byla možnost pro vybrané firmy prezentovat své produkty, řešení či strategie speciálnímu publiku – sestávajícím povětšinou z řad CISO, investorů či zástupců zmíněných inovativních organizací, v rámci tzv. Pitch2TheDutch.
The presenting companies were selected by a demanding panel of experts and we are more than pleased that our Quantum safe strategy and WCDR ITS solution was selected as a finalist. Thank you, we very much appreciate this opportunity, as well as the discussions around the topic, which our colleague František Kovařík opened with our presentation. We are really happy for the many new contacts and the confirmation that PQC is definitely a hot topic.

Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Netherlands
The Czech delegation also had the opportunity to visit the residence of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Netherlands, Mr. Rene Mike, who welcomed us at a reception associated with the Proped mission. We also appreciate very much this beautiful festive event, and we would like to thank NUCIB and Czech Trade - not only for the opportunity to represent us as an ITS company, but as the Czech Republic in general. And in the context of cyber security, we definitely have a lot to offer as a country.

International cooperation - and not necessarily only in the sense of business - but making valuable and beneficial contacts makes a lot of sense to us. We have confirmed that the Netherlands is a leader in this segment with an agile approach and we look forward to all future collaborations.
