CYRIS autumn: economic missions, legislation, subsidies & SOCy

On 5 November 2025, another meeting of this year's platform took place on the premises of the Čichnova Secondary School of Informatics in Brno. CYRIS(Cyber Research and Innovations in Security), which had SOC as the main topic in the autumn session.
We went with ITS this time not only out of curiosity about the topic of SOC, i.e. surveillance security centres (presented through the lens of our partner, Axenta), but also at the invitation of NUCIB - whether we would share our knowledge and experience from economic-diplomatic missions (PROPED).
Specifically, we tried to convey our impressions of the last Cyber Security Week mission in The Hague, which we wrote about in our news and which you can also read about on Cyris.
Proč nám v ITS dává účast na podobných aktivitách smysl, a co konkrétního nám přinesl Haag, bylo předmětem naší krátké reportáže. Otevření zajímavých zahraničních byznysových příležitostí, validace naší Quantum safe / PQC strategie, mnoho nových kontaktů – až po prohloubení spolupráce s NÚKIB – to byly naše hlavní cíle, a ty se povedlo rozhodně naplnit. Děkujeme za prostor, i pro nás je zpětná vazba velmi důležitá.
Zajímavé byly i informace k činnosti Národního koordinačního centra (NKC / NCC-CZ), příjemně civilní a lidská byla i panelová diskuse, mnoho praktických informací padlo ke zmíněným výzvám od Evropské unie či v rámci programu Twist Ministerstva průmyslu a obchodu.
Thank you once again for the invitation, we are very happy to actively participate in building the Czech cybersecurity community, which is very strong in the Czech Republic and has a huge potential.
