MMD, the manufacturer of AOC and Philips monitors, held its annual Partner Summit in Cascais, Portugal, at the end of March to showcase the latest innovations in monitors for 2025, and of course our representatives were there.
Hosted by Cesar Reyes, Lead Product Manager for AOC and MMD, the event, which attracted distributors, industry partners and media, focused on high-end, high refresh rate gaming monitors and new versatile models. What stood out to us and what was most noteworthy from our perspective?
The most interesting news include:
- AOC 25G4SXU - A 24.5″ Fast IPS monitor with 1080p resolution, an extreme refresh rate of 310Hz and 1ms response time, delivering ultra-smooth gaming at an affordable price.
- Another attraction is the AOC Q27G4ZR, a 27″ QHD monitor with a refresh rate of 240Hz (can be overclocked up to 260Hz) and 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage that gamers and content creators alike will appreciate.
- Also worth mentioning is the innovative AOC U27G4R (pictured), which offers dual mode - it can be used either as a 4K monitor at 160Hz or switched to 1080p with an extreme 320Hz refresh rate. These features will be most appreciated by gamers who want maximum FPS, but want to take advantage of the high resolution for creative work.
The unique Philips double-sided monitors are also worthy of attention. It is clear that the leading technology is clearly OLED and that the new products promise to push the boundaries of what users can expect from monitors once again, as well as a better user experience.
MMD and AOC reaffirm their commitment to delivering superior performance and versatility at affordable prices. Last but not least, the focus is on sustainability - the company's green initiatives were also showcased during the summit.
