Anatomy of quantum attack, QKD distribution, optical networks...
1 min

All this, and much more, was part of the last meeting CYRIS(Cyber Research and Innovations in Cybersecurity), which took place on 18 June in Prague, where we went at the invitation of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security (NUCIB). And we are very grateful for the invitation.
And the event was indeed interesting - not only in terms of topics, among which, for example, the "anatomy of a quantum attack", the distribution of quantum keys (QKD) through optical networkswith a lot of technical data around them (CESNET), information about the activities of the NKC (National Coordination Centre) were discussed in detail; but also in the format of networking, which effectively connected representatives of universities, academia with other entities, whether from the public or private sphere.
They talked about post-quantum encryption, which is a topic that is also very topical for us at ITS, and which we are intensively working on. Not only in terms of monitoring developments in this area, but above all with specific activities - whether we are talking about our own solutionsand education, or participation in projects such as the recently announced launch of Quantum Innovation Center Czech. You can read more about the QIC project here.
The aim of the CYRIS meeting - as the platform itself is named - was to share information and experience in the field of cyber security.
We are happy to be a part of it. We believe that more than anywhere else, it is in cyber security that we need to stay up to date.
