Workshop for internal auditors

If you are an internal auditor by profession, then you probably know that on 22-23 October 2025 the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors in Přerov is organizing a traditional workshop called Compass for change in internal audit.
The workshop is again primarily intended for the audience of internal auditors, controllers, management representatives and all other employees interested in sharing their experience and good practice in the profession of internal audit and financial management in general.
A varied professional programme with the participation and support of renowned experts from the field will discuss current topics, which in the context of auditing undoubtedly include the Public Finance Management and Control Act and the Global Standards in Internal Auditing. In addition to the lectures, the programme also includes working groups that will focus on topics such as change management, supervision in small teams and controls over property and financial operations.
In the area of cybersecurity , it is of course worth mentioning the validity of the new Cybersecurity Act, which will come into force on 1 November 2025 and contains the NIS2 Directive, which imposes a lower or higher regime of obligations on companies and organisations depending on their categorisation.
Not only NIS2, but especially the dangers related to data protection in the context of the development of quantum computers and the topic of Quantum safe - will be the subject of a lecture by ITS, which will be led by technology leader and CEO of ITS, Mr. Lumír Srch Jr.
He will explain to the auditors present the context - what impact quantum technologies can and will have on the security of corporate and private data, what needs to be done now and why to pay attention to this topic in general. We will focus not only on general issues, but also on what is good to know in the role of an internal auditor. We believe that this conference input will also resonate a lot.
