Are there any future IT experts among them?
2 min
For several years now, we have been taking students from vocational high schools under our wing each spring as part of the mandatory school internships that all second- and third-year students are required to complete.
There are only a handful of them, because our capacity and ability to devote ourselves fully to them simply don’t allow for more—and let’s face it, even a two-week internship isn’t much time for such a broad field as information technology or cybersecurity.
We are delighted that the number of applicants for internships at our company is growing year after year —and we are equally disappointed that we cannot work with everyone.
Whether future high school graduates stay in the field or not is, of course, primarily up to them. We believe that even these two weeks can help them with their future direction and choice of specialization. We’ve even identified students among this year’s participants who are interested in post-quantum cryptography, which makes us very happy and once again proves that this topic is on the rise. Some of them will already be able to continue their studies in university programs that are currently in place or are being developed in parallel.
We’re rooting for all students—especially our soon-to-be graduates—as they take their final exams, and for all incoming high school students as they await their admission results!
