How to audit cybersecurity

In the first half of November, in cooperation with the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors , we once again focused on the topic of cyber security auditing, an extensive and often difficult to grasp area even from the perspective of experienced auditors.

At the workshop How to audit cyber security , we focused as always not only on the legislative framework and obligations under the law, but also on a number of practical recommendations gathered from our years of experience.

Téma kybernetické bezpečnosti je v tomto směru velmi vděčné a s ohledem na neustálý vývoj technologií i stále rozmanitější. Co všechno spadá pod audit kybernetické bezpečnosti, do jaké hloubky je potřeba jít, či jak může být interní auditor klíčovým subjektem nejen kontroly, ale i strategických změn v organizaci – například v souvislosti s novými hrozbami jako kvantové počítače či umělá inteligence – i to bylo součástí dopoledního bloku.

We have long viewed internal auditing as an essential part of the company - not just as a way to oversee compliance with regulations and standards, but by definition. Internal audit is a valuable tool that can be used for continuous improvement - especially in such a dynamic environment where what was true yesterday may not be true today.
