Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli at the opening of Little Moon City Prague!

If you've been in Prague's Dejvice district in front of the CTU building on Technical Street in recent weeks, you couldn't have failed to notice a very strange yellow device.

If you're a technology enthusiast, then you've probably already read or heard about the Hydronaut project.

At ITS, we are fans of technology in general and we are particularly happy to support ambitious projects, especially those that are created by Czech hands. Such projects as the Hydronaut HO3 DeepLab and Little Moon City Prague are.

Last week saw the grand opening of this training centre called Little Moon City Prague, which boasts, among other things, that it is the only training station in the world that can be reached by metro.

The inauguration took place in the presence of none less than a member of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli, who has spent more than a year in orbit and is incidentally one of the most senior crew members in space. Mr Nespoli has personally tested the habitat and shared his impressions and experiences.

And what does that have to do with the Hydronaut ITS?

For the Little Moon City Prague project, ITS supplied monitors from the Edge series from our premium partner Lenovo, which can withstand even very challenging conditions. Currently, the equipment was for the monitoring and control centre, the so-called Mission Control Centre, and we are looking forward to seeing where the project will go next.
