Data in the spotlight

Data in the spotlight - was the title of a conference hosted by the Vysočina Region on Wednesday , November 27, in cooperation with Czech Institute of Internal Auditors (CIIA) the main topic this time was data.

Data analysis, data yield, what can be learned from them and how to deal with them in practice was the main connecting point of the whole day, which included a lecture and a panel discussion in the morning session with the participation of VIP speakers, especially the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Mr. Miloš Vystrčil. He focused on the survey conducted in the Vysočina Region a few years ago, explained the individual indices and why it is important to continue working with these data.

Společnost ITS byla opět jako partner ČIIA i partnerem konference, v odpoledním bloku pak vystoupil a i zástupce z našich řad a zároveň i akademické půdy – pan profesor, doc. Ing. Jan Pour, CSc z katedry informatiky na VŠE v Praze, který se podíval v rámci svého vstupu na největší „bolesti“ při práci s daty – a také na projekt „Anatomie firmy“, který vznikl za účasti různých subjektů a jehož výsledkem je mj. veřejně dostupný portál MBI-AF. Portál přináší řadu praktických podkladů, již zpracovaných dokumentací a postupů pro nejrůznější vertikály a odvětví, včetně státní správy, pro přítomné auditory to byla jedna z velmi praktických rad.
